About the author
Frances Higgins is a preschool teacher and mother of four. Music is her favourite hobby and she plays the harp, flute, lyre, ukulele and recorder. As a parent-child class facilitator she uses a lot of music, songs and rhymes in her classes.

Questions from the parents about how to integrate music at home became the inspiration to do the Colourstrings Kindergarten training. The Colourstrings kindergarten approach is a child-centered and holistic way of teaching music to young children.

This is her first book of songs and rhymes inspired by small creatures, for small creatures.

Each song has the musical notation and a beautiful illustration.
